AI Ad Creative for DTC Brands
Most ad creative agencies sell volume by adding more juniors. Most AI ad tools sell volume by removing judgment entirely. Miru Studio sells volume by one senior creative director carrying five seats: designer, filmmaker, photographer, analyst, and the production system that ties them together. Every ad made by hand. AI reads the data and fills production gaps, not the creative. 25 to 55 testable Meta ad variants per month, from your supplied footage, generative assets, or both, on a retainer that prices closer to one in-house designer than one in-house team. Brand-protective by default.
What the pipeline actually does
The "AI" on most ad-creative agency sites is a sticker on top of the same junior-team workflow. Here it is broken into specific jobs, each one earning its place.
- Library mining. Existing footage (interviews, b-roll, brand shoots, UGC) is indexed by transcript, topic, emotion, lighting, and talent. Search the library in plain English. The right clip surfaces in seconds.
- Generative fill. New visual assets generated against your brand style when source footage is short. Used only where it sharpens the work, and only with sign-off.
- Variant prep. First-pass cuts, captions, hook tests, and aspect-ratio conformations assembled for the senior CD to review and refine. Not template output. Nothing ships unreviewed.
- Hook rewriting. Winning hooks rewritten into five-plus angles each cycle. Tests run against Meta ad-account data.
- Proprietary scoring system (Studio tier). Every variant scored against format-specific rubrics before it ships. Loser variants killed pre-launch instead of after $500 in spend.
Who this is for
- DTC brands spending $30,000 to $300,000+ per month on Meta paid social.
- Active paid account with an ad buyer in place, internal or external. We deliver creative; the buyer manages the account.
- Bottlenecked on creative volume, not on strategy. If you know what to test but can't ship fast enough, this works. If you don't know what to test yet, that is a different engagement.
- AI-curious or AI-neutral. AI-hostile brands are not a fit.
What ships per month
- Pilot ($4k/mo): 15 to 20 hand-crafted variants from your existing footage. Library mining included. No generated assets at this tier.
- Engine ($6k/mo): 25 to 35 variants. Library mining, generative fill where it sharpens the work, variant prep, hook expansion. The volume of a four-person agency pod at a third the cost.
- Studio (from $8k/mo): 40 to 55 variants. Full production pipeline plus the proprietary scoring system. Creative director running the function.
One variant equals one testable creative unit (unique hook + body + CTA), delivered in all standard aspect ratios as one variant, not three. Aspect ratios are delivery, not separate variants.
How a week runs
- Monday: review last week's ad data with the buyer, identify winners and fatigue.
- Tuesday-Wednesday: brief the new batch. Hooks scripted, footage surfaced or generated, edits assembled.
- Thursday: internal review. Scoring system applied (Studio). Cuts revised.
- Friday: batch delivered. Working files + standard masters in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, and 16:9.
